World of Warcraft's long-awaited 9.1 update, Chains of Domination, is now live
Aft waiting a staggeringly long-run time, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands' first John Roy Major update is now elastic. Yup, after 218 days (the longest stint between an expansion launch and its x.1 patch in WoW story), Chains of Domination is finally here.
That means there's actually a full virgin swathe of things to do in the Shadowlands once more—including a full-page unweathered zone to search, more Covenant levels to grind, and (starting next week) a new raid, mega-dungeon, and seasonal update for Mythic+ dungeons and PvP.
I've been indecisive to get my hopes up complete update 9.1, simply I'm actually pretty excited to jump back into the Shadowlands again. There's dozens of earthshaking changes that address a great deal of the complaints players had with Shadowlands' end game, including a sizable overhaul of Torghast, the new roguelike donjon that was added in reply in November. Torghast none longer imposes a limit on how more times you can conk out before failing a run only instead awards a score supported on how efficient your run is, and it also has all new wings and secret levels that can lead to some nifty cosmetic rewards.
